I get this messge when I try and transfer data from my PDA
plus I am unable touse ctrl alt del for window task manager
any help please

What happens when you do Ctrl-Alt-Del - any error messages? What about
Ctrl-Shift-Esc, does that work? And if you right click the taskbar and
choose Task Manager?

there is no error message with ctrl alt del
right click task bar does not work as well

One of the more common things that disables Task Manager is some sort of
malware (they don't want you to see what's going on).
