Cluster configuration comparisn

Hi all,
I am trying to evaluate the performance of these two cluster
configurations , Anyone have any ideas, views , inputs , comments ??

Config1:

10 Nodes
Opteron 244 dual core (1.8Ghz processor)
4 GB DDR RAM
80 GB SATA

1 Head node
Opteron 244 dual core (1.8Ghz )
4 GB Ram
146 GB SATA

Connected by 100GigE switch.

Config 2:

16 Nodes
Athlon 64 X2 4400+ (2.2Ghz processor)
2 GB DDR Ram
36 GB SATA

1 Head Node

Athlon 64 X2 4400+ (2.2Ghz processor)
2 GB DDR Ram
36 GB SATA

I am trying to compare power consumption , overall performance.
