Closing PST Files - Object Not Found Error.

Hello,
I'm running Outlook 2003 (About to upgrade to 2007). I have a couple
of "Archive" folders open in my profile. I've opened them in the past
to find some archived mail I was looking for. Now when I right click
on these files and choose "Close Archive Folders" I get an error
message: "The operation failed. Object Not Found."

I've run the "ScanPST.exe" on each of the offending folders and have
repaired errors found, but the behavior still exists. I may just
upgrade to 2007, hoping it's maybe a glitch in 2003.

If anyone has found a suitable solution, I'd appreciate hearing it.

Thanks!
John

Upgrading doesn't fix configuration issues like this. Try closing them
through File-> Data File Management...

The other solution is to recreate your mail profile which is also something
I can highly recommend after you upgrade to Outlook 2007;

Your Outlook-Profile is damaged. Try to fix it with the tool "OLfix"
[1]. If this does not work you have to create a new profile.

Control Panel | Mail | Show Profile
