Everytime I open Outlook it says checking Personal Files Folder which was not
closed properly. This take 30 seconds plus of wasted time.
What am I doing wrong or is the program not closing it correctly?

Shutdown issues with Outlook are usually caused by add-ins or applications
that use the outlook.exe process.
Which version of Outlook are you using?
