closing original message on reply

Hi,

For some reason Outlook 2003 does not close the original message when
replying.
In Tools>Options>E-mail Options "Close original message on reply or
forward" is checked.

Maybe it's related, but when replying, after I'm trying to close the
original message, Outlook always
asks if it should save the changes. Of course, no changes were applied to
the original message.
