ow do I close the FTP connection to the remote site without closing my local
site. In other words leave all of my pages open so that I can continue
working on them. What has happened is I choose Exit or Close Site and then
I have to re-open every page, yow...I must not be doing this right...Thanks,
Ralph

You should be working on a local copy of your site. That way you would not have a need to have the
live/remote site open.

> ok, but what if I have my local site open (every page becuse I've been doing numerous updates/changes) and have now decided to publish to the remote site. What can I do after I've transferred the files to keep my local site open so that I can continue working on it?

You don't need to worry about "closing" the connection.
When you switch back to folder view or design view and start working
on pages, the machine will notice the connection is not being used
and will close it automatically.

Although it appears you are constantly connected, the connection is actually "on demand."
