Outlook 2007 running on Windows Xp Pro closes with no error.
Thats pretty much the entire description.

It closes the process, as well as the application running under task
manager, and there is no declared corruption of the ost.

It does it all day, and there is no known action that causes it.

I dont know if it does it on other profiles on the machine since its only
used by one user... not even sure where else to troubleshoot to find more
information.

Please help... please?

Is there anything in the Event Viewer (Applications) for the time of the
closure? Does it also happen when you start Outlook in Safe Mode (Start
-> Run -> outlook.exe /safe) ?

The event viewer applications section does actually show an error. it says
"failed to determine if the store is in the crawl scope (error=0x8001010d).
the event id is 35 and the source is outlook.
it does still do it if the os is booted into in safe mode and if the
application itself is started in safe mode.

I don't know what this error code means, but after sending it through
Google, it appears to be connected with WDS. Common resolutions include
installing the latest version of WDS, or start reindexing everything.
