In the folders list I right clicked on the archive and clicked "close archive
folder". I now cannot find that folder. Did I delete it? How can I view it
again?

Well, how did you open it before? Perhaps the "File -> Open" menu. You'll
have to point at the .pst file for your archive message store.

Search for *.pst (and include hidden files) Jot down the fiel names and
path.

File, Open , Outlook Data FIle, browse to the Archive and there you go!
