Hi, hoping someone can help me out here. Windows Vista 32 bit Home premium
as OS. IE 7. When I have tabbed browsing and multiple webpages open i want
to close just one tab or webpage. But when I click on close it says close
all tabs, and I just want that one closed. I right clicked on the tab in the
taskbar and got the same one option close all tabs. How do I just just close
one tab or website so I dont lose all and close all the websites? Thanks In
Advance

I don't think there is any such option normally. You must have some
kind of add-on which has changed the tab's right-click menu.

Not the same thing. That is called Taskbar grouping which refers
to windows running the same program, not tabs being displayed by
one instance of the browser.

If you right-click on a Tab in the Tab bar (when there is more than one tab)
what are the menu options?

Try pressing Ctrl-w?

Each IE Tab should have a small close button to the Right (this is not the
big X at the Top right).

If you are not able to find it, press CTRL + W to close the active Tab
window.

Those with IE7- and/or IE8-specific questions or comments can post to and
seek support in IE General newsgroup:
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

On the web:

In your newsreader:

IE Tools | Internet Options | General | Tabs | Settings | Warn me when
closing multiple tabs (check this)
