...... AIW 9000 PRO / MMC 8.9 / WINDOWS XP HOME

My TV application has started doing weird things.

It starts fine, however it seems to hang almost immediately. It continues to
play, but none of the buttons are controllable by the mouse - You can see
the 'mouse' shaped cursor with one button flashing, but it won't do
anything.

You have to shut the application down using ctrl./alt/delete, and even then
the sound keeps playing until the PC has been shut down - no way to stop it!

Any ideas?

Chris

Whoops, the eyes are failing me 8)

My drivers are as follows:
MMC 8.1
WinXP Home
Asus P4PE MB PIV2.8 1gig RAM

No problems (yet). Better not have any problems as I have been recording the
NHL playoffs....Go flames go!

Have you rerun the ATI Multimedia Configuration compatibility check to see
if all the sound and video drivers are OK.

Have you tried the MMC ver 9 yet?

I'm not sure what you have for a mainboard, but I have an Asus P4P800D. I
had similar problems until I flashed the Bios to 1014 and upgraded my ATI
Catalyst drivers to 4.4. All "seems" alright now. You should check your
board to see if there are any new BIOS updates. Also, I've heard that there
are some "issues" with AIW cards and hyperthreading. Good Luck!
