Close Dos from Vba?

Hello everybody, i managed to close the application that i opened in dos from
vba but is there a way that i could close the dos window?, i have tried,
window(c:\winnt\system32\cmd.exe).close, application.quit, i dont know, is it
the same procedure of closing a non-microsoft app??
