I get the following error message with OL03 when I try to close my archive
folder I get this error "The Operation Failed. An object could not be found."
I was on the phone for 3 hours yesterday and reestablished a new profile all
seemed to work just fine then when OL archived the same problem occured. Gosh
I hate to call again and waste half of the day. Any ideas?

And, with OL closed what happens if you use the mail applet to close the
archive, remove it from the profile?
And also, with OL closed if you run scanpst.exe, the repair tool on the
archive?

Thank-you DL I have closed OL03 and deleted the Archive PST however I still
have the folder tree for the archivepst in my navigation pane I try to delete
and will not let me do so. I had previously tried running scanpst.exe and all
was ok with it. I am totally stumped and really prefer not to set up another
profile that took for ever to get all of my setting back. Gosh this is
frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Kirk,

Patience is Virtue.......

Look in for the archieve path ( the location where it is stored and delete
them ).

OR

FILE >OPEN>OUTLOOK DATA FILE>choose the outlook data ( saves tons of time
ahaaaa).
Then drag and drop the data you need to the new pst avoiding the archieve
folder and then delete the pst file......

Let us know the status .

First look in for archieve location.
>If you have taken archieve of inbox then right click on inbox and properties

auto archieve tab >check for the location .
move to the location and delete the folder.
