That's a common thing if your cloning tool doesn't recognize the EWF
partition. I couldn't solve that problem but I learned that Mr.
Slobodan's tool "RAM EWF" (http://www.xpefiles.com/) handles RAM based
overlay without an EWF partition. Perhaps that's your way, too?

Hi
I am also using Ghost to clone a Sandisk with RAM Ewf.
My SanDisk has 3 partitions 60+61+1 Mbyte. The first (C: with XPE) is protected.
Write protection is enabled when I create the Ghost image. (image of the entire
disk).

The first time I boot after Ghost, EwfMgr displays some error message. (can't
find ....)
Write protection is disabled. (because if I write to the disk it is there at
next boot).
At next reboot, EWF is enabled and works OK. (and all after that).

Can it be so you only tried the first boot ?.

I wonder if things should be as I described it above. Does anybody know.
