Hey All,

Had this problem before I reformatted. A good person here , long ago, said
I had to stop and restart something and that worked last time. Googling my
own posts didn't find it. Would you know what I am talking about?

XP SP2 updated, modern system.

Gracias in advance,
Xor

Here is how a fix. HTH.

1. Start->Run cmd.exe
2. net stop w32time
3. w32tm.exe /unregister
4. w32tm.exe /register
5. net start w32time

Good Luck,

Joe

Hi Joe,

That seems what i did a long time ago and I tried it twice now, still
getting "there was a error..."
Seems right but it is not working. I pasted your answer to my clipboard and
will experiment"

Thank-You,
Xor

Xor,

You may post back and give us the exact error that you are getting. One
thing you may try is installing a free third party time synching app like
this one...

http://www.gregorybraun.com/WebTime.html

Works great and saves a lot of headache. Good Luck,

Joe
