I did a number of MS upgrades and soon after I can no longer use the OS
clipboard. When I do, all I get is the lower letter 'a' on applying the
paste command. It doesn't matter if I use keyboard short cuts or
pulldown menu commands through the Edit Tab. Do I have to re-install
the OS to fix this? Thanks.

Go to run,type:cmd In cmd type:clipbrd.exe Press enter.If that doesnt fix
it,
type:Sfc /Scannow Install xp cd,exit the info page.When its thru,type:
CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart,type:EXIT Restart computer,remove cd.
