In Powerpoint 2003 several users have problems with clipart and images that
are not visible. The boxes are there but no content.

On occassions rebuilding their roaming profiles solves this problem. It is
intermittent some on the same pc and office installation.

I am just looking for a more permanent solution.

You're not talking about clip art in the clip organizer window, right?
You're talking about on the slide itself?

Have you installed SP-1 for Office 2003 on these systems?

No definitely clipart in the slide. Just today I have been told that some
students who all have local profiles are experiencing the same problem. And
one of the Teachers with a roaming profile has experienced it in Word with
graphics created from the drawing tools.

Office 2003 has been installed on all of the pc’s.

The odd thing is that on the same machine one person has no problem and
another does not. It has to be something in the users or allusers profile
that occasionally misses something when a user logs in.

I had thought about permissions to registry keys, as we had a problem some
time back with PhotoDraw that was caused by this, but then again why some
users and not all?

Has SP-1 been installed, though? It resolves a lot of those "missing pix"
issues.

I don't have a clue, then. I suspect you're right about it being a
permissions issue, but I don't know what keys would be affected. Maybe time
to call MS.
