Greetings all, I have been having a hard time figuring out why when I look
for clipart on user machines, they are not getting the clipart files
available on office online. We did just put in a web proxy, but I have added
office online as a trusted site, and they are able to get out on the
internet.
I've already tried deleting internet files. When I look at where to search
for cliparts in Word in the web collection, I cannot expand the category.
I'll supply more info if needed.

I'm running XP with Office 2k3 SP2.
Thanks a lot

Mary,
Thank you for your assistance, I have tried the items from the article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;839365. AndI am
still having issues.
When I go into the clip organizer, and right click on the "Web Collections"
it doesn't open, but I got this error message:
Unable to browse collection
Unspecified error. Error code 0x80004005.

Looks like this is not a user problem, but with the machine, because when I
tried it on the problem computer with my admin account, I was unable to find
any of the online cliparts. I am going to try the other article, but I'm
just letting you know.

Mary,

I've tried the other two KB articles:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...en-us%3B834603
and
http://support.microsoft.com/default...en-us%3B328166.

When I reinstalled the MDAC.inf file on one of my test machines, it did show
the web collections, and it even let me search from the online ones in the
web collections folder. But on another machine, I still got the error
message I noted in the previous ticket.

As for the registry hack, the machine that I am testing on doesn't have the
office\common\clip organizer key on it. When I look at the registry, I only
get HKCU\Software\policies\microsoft\ then the only options are system
certificates and windows.

Thanks again for your help. Hopefully we can get this fixed.

Have you tried a re-install of the Organizer? Or a "detect and repair?" Did you
ever have Office XP on your system? The XP Office had a separate disk for the
media and Organizer. You could setup the Organizer from the media disk.

Have you tried re-naming the catalog? (A hidden file, C:\Documents and
Settings\<<user name>>\Application Data\Microsoft\Clip Organizer)
Rename your Mstore10.mgc file, to Mstore10.old
NOTE: If your computer is used by more than one person or has more than one
profile, be careful to rename only the Mstore10.mgc file that is in a subfolder
of your personal user folder (the folder with your login ID). If you are on a
network, ask for help from your network administrator if you do not understand
how to find the correct file.
Clip Organizer creates a new Mstore10.mgc file automatically.
After Clip Organizer creates the new catalog file, you must re-import any custom
clips that you previously imported, and retype any clip property information
that you manually created.

Of course this won't help if the Organizer isn't on your computer.
