I have w2k sp4 clients windows updates configured by an AD
policy to automatically download & schedule installation
of updates from my SUS server(option 4). However the
clients update services icon appears in the task tray of
the PCs when there's a new improved update to install. If
opened a 'ready to install' window opens prompting the
user to initiate the installation. The settings options
for the update services on the PCS are greyed out
indicating that the AD policy has been applied.
There are no other update policies in the AD which could
be superseding my own. Any ideas - I can't understnad why
option 4 doesn't auto complete and install the update at
the specified time.
