I am running Windows 2000 servers and Windows XP clients.
I would like to know if it is possible, from my server or
a terminal services connection to the server, to place a
file or an .exe on a clients desktop? What services need
to be turned on and is this possible on Win2K server. I
did this on Windows NT server, but cannot figure out how
on 2000 to XP clients.

Thanks,

Amika

Yes, this is possible. The path to the desktop has changed. By default the path is c:\documents and settings\username
\desktop, where "username" is the logon ID for the account you want to add the file to.

Thank you,
