CLIENT FOR MICROSOFT NETWORKS

Having problems with my wife's laptop seeing our home network. I
uninstalled client for msn in trying to resolve the problem. When I tried
to reinstall it, the 'client' icon (the one where it usually lists the
available clients by manufacturer's name) is empty - nothing. So now, I
can't install client for msn, because it isn't showing in the 'add' software
routine. I have an OEM WinXP o/s, so I have no XP CDROM to go to.

Can anybody tell me either a) where I can go to download client for msn, or
b) what is the file name for this so I can get it from one of my other
computers?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
