Using the Certificate Import Wizard, I imported 6
different certificates which I can view in the Internet
Properties dialog box under the "Content" tab. I've also
made sure that "Client Authentication" box is checked in
the "Advance Option" dialog box (Internet Properties>
Content>Certificate>Advanced...>Certificate Purpose).
When I open my IE (Ver. 6.0.2800.1106)to the desired web
page, I succesfully get prompted by the Client
Authentication dialog box to select one of the
six "Certificates" available to me. When I log out from my
secure Web page, I also physically "Close" the Browser
window. I now re-open the Browser & go to my secure web
page, but I do not get prompted by the Client
Authentication dialog box, it has automatically selected
the original "certificate". Try as I may, I cannot open
the Client Authentication dialog box in order to select a
different "certificate". It seems to be in some sort of
cache memory or something. The only way I have been able
to prompt the Client Authentication dialog box is by
completely shutting down my laptop (IBM T22)and then
logging back into Windows 2000. Is there a setting in
Internet properties I need to select in order to prompt
the Client Authentication dialog box to appear when I go
to the secure Web Page. Or is it something else?
