Did you also follow the 2 links on that KB for trouble shooting web folders?
It may also be a web folder cache problem. If you're comfortable with this kind of procedure, try:
1. Close all Office Apps
2. Open a command window (Start-->Run-->cmd)
3. Kill Explorer.exe (Start-->Shutdown-->Alt+Ctrl+Shift and click the Cancel button)
4. At the command prompt type in cd %userprofile%\application data\microsoft
5. rmdir /s msdaipp
6. Restart Explorer using: explorer.exe

| If I click edit with FrontPage from IE it opens. If I use run frontpage
|
http://myweb.com it opens. I reinstalled the webfolder.msi and checked all
| the registry entries. And removed and readded the extensions on my personal
| computer. Still have the same problem.
