Hello,

I have a scheduler application that I am deploying via ClickOnce. This app
runs as a tray icon on startup so that user can receive alerts when thay
have an appointment due. I want to update via ClickOnce but the app starts
before the user connects to the internet. Is there a way to make the
application check for updates and update in the background when I detect
thay have connected to the internet?

Thanks

Jamey

using the system.deployment namespace you can check if its a network
deployed app and determine if updates are available.

somewhat of what I speak of is in the link below:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...checkinfo.aspx

You could have a menu item which is enabled/disabled depending on the
updatecheckinfo or something of that sort.
