ClickOnce and VirtualPC - shows xml, not run application manifest

I have three PCs. From each I am able to install my application from my
(public) web site.
On one PC, I have also installed a virtual pc using VirtualPC2004. Whe I try
to install from the virtual PC, IE displays the applicaton XML and does not
run it as a .application file. I've reinstsalled the Net Framework, updated
to IE7 but still the same result.
Any suggestions?
