Hello NG

I have a problem with a quick launch item. Every time i click on it, my
explorer.exe process hangs! I'm also not able to delete it...

Any ideas? Reboot didn't help...

What is the item? Is the issue only with one item or all items on the
Quick Launch Bar? What is the virus/malware status of the computer? If
you think it is clean, what programs (and versions) did you use to
determine this?

In the meantime, go into Safe Mode and try and delete from there. Do
this by repeatedly tapping the F8 key as the computer is starting up.
This will get you to the right menu. Navigate using your Up arrow key;
the mouse will not work here.

It's just one item in the Quick Launch Bar. I tried to delete it
directly in the Quick Launch Bar, and also opened the Folder with the
Links in the Windows explorer and tried to delete again. => The explorer
process hangs.

The Virus Scanner is up to date...

At the momant im not at the computer with the problem... I will try this
later...
