When I left-click a link the computer makes a clicking
sound a fraction of a second later which is annoying.
This did not happen when I first went online so I must
have set something or downloaded something which started
it. Also my previous PC did not do this. I can only
prevent it by muting the entire PC which I would rather
not do. Can someone tell me how to eliminate this sound?

Control panel>sounds>start navigation, set it to none.
