I'm using PP 20003. The past two weeks when I click to add a New Slide 2
slides are added instead of 1. What could be causing this?

Thank you,
Linda

When you click what? Are you using a mouse? What menu item or object on the
screen are you clicking? Are you clicking the left button or the right button
of a mouse?

Sorry I wasn't clear enough. When I use my left mouse button to click the
button on the Toolbar that says New Slide. I have been using PP for 5
years and have never had this happen.

Thanks

What happens when you select a thumbnail in the outline view and then press Ctrl
+ M? Have you tried a different mouse? Have you run Detect and Repair? Does
this happen all of the time with all presentation files?

When I press Ctrl M it works fine. Yes it happens with all presentation
files. I haven't tried a different mouse but will do that.

Thanks

It must have been the mouse. I switched to another and I only get one New
Slide now.

Thank you,
Linda

Probably time to retire the mouse. It's sending mixed signals. <G>
