Software or Harware? I often have to click "hard" or twice
to get the corresponding "click" sound and the wanted
naviagtion. In other words, if I do not click on a link or
button with great care and concentration and force, it is
like I never clicked...

Assuming it is not an "aiming" problem (i.e., being off the edge of the
clickable zone), it sounds like a defective mouse.

Or a cordless mouse with low batteries.

I am getting used to using the arrow keys so don't care
if this gets fixed.
Reminds me of a software program we used 10 years ago.
After updates there would be a few bugs but some of the
bugs became useful. Then another update and the bug
would be fixed/gone.

>I do not think the mouse is the problem. It works fine

elsewhere. That is doing what ever is normal to do with a
mouse... toolbar buttons, higlighting, dragging... It is
only when browsing.
