Clicking on a link IE6 wants to download a file instead of opening the content

I'm experiencing a problem, and it only appears to happen on certain
sites. This happens on nearly every (if not all) link on the MSN
homepage for example. When I click on a link, instead of opening up the
content as expected, Internet Explorer 6 sp1 wants to download the
content as a file.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I've already re-installed IE6 SP1 and
have reset all the defaults.
