No. In Word 2002 they added the ability to hold Ctrl and click to
follow the link but it's not available for Word 2000.
If it's a matter of trying to edit the document and accidentally
clicking the links then what I always did was press Alt + F9 to toggle
the view of field codes. That way the hyperlinks weren't active. Note
that all of your fields will appear in a set of braces such as
{HYPERLINK "http://www.microsoft.com} but once you press Alt + F9 to
toggle the field codes back off they will appear as they did before.
