Hello, I had this problem in outlook 2003 and now that I've upgarded to 2007
+ SP1 I still have the same problem.
If I click a link on a site for email then outlook starts in new email mode,
I can right my email and press "send', then Outlook will exit but won't send
the email. When I reopen outlook I can see that the message is in outbox and
after few seconds is sent.
The same happen when I right click a file in windows explorer and select
send to -- mail recipient.

I made sure that under options "preforme automitic send/recieve when exit"
is selected. And also "send immediately when connected" selected, but the
problem is the same.

I'll be very grateful for any advise.

Thanks

Ziv

outlook needs to be fully loaded for the send before exit option to work.
when it's loaded just enough to compose messages, its only part way loaded.
It sometimes works to click an open a second new message and waiting a
couple of min before closing the message. Its better to start outlook and
keep it loaded all day.

Thank you Diane,

Are you saying that there is no way to make outlook send the email
immediately after I press on the link and write my email?
I know that Outlook Express had no problem with it.

I can't see my self having outlook open all the time since I use it about
once a week.

Regards
