Hi, I`m trying to help a friend who can`t open pics or docs, this it the
email he sent me.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks
Kim

I had a folder on my hard drive
in which I save my pictures & some important MS Word files. once I am
checking the properties of the folder I press right click on the folder
then taking properties there is an option "Advanced" I click on it to check
what is inside a new tab oppened here on the top "Advanced Attribute" is
written at the bottom there is a check box "Encrypt options to secure
data".I click on this check box to see what happens & click on apply button
but very unluckily from now I am unable to open any picture or my MS word
files in this folder and when I open any image file it gives an error
message "No preview available" and on MS Word files "access is denied". Even
though I again taking the properties & uncheck the option of "Encrypt
options to secure data" but when I press apply button it gives me an error
message "acces is denied". I am unable to acces any fil in this folder.
