ok guys, another question.

on my wife pc both running ultimate, when I click start, I see all her
programs right away. when I use my pc and click on start, I have to
click all programs to see my programs, if not all I see is IE and
thunderbird and just a blank space all the way down to all programs. is
there a setting to change that? if so I didn't think we did that on my
wife's pc.

*from memory, not in front of vista now*
I believe those programs are recently / freqently used programs. It sounds
like either you haven't got any recently used programs, in which case they
should soon be listed there, or you have got this option turned off. You
should be able to configure it by right clicking the start button, selecting
properties, and browsing the options there...
