click on a pic and a new page comes up but nothing loads

I have WinXP w/SP1 and IE6. When I click on a picture
from some web sites to bring up a bigger picture a new
page will pop up and the picture will not load but if I
right click the pic and click open link in new window the
new window will come up but still nothing loads in it
however if I modify the web address on that new window
the pic does come up. For example this is what I get when
I open the link in a new window javascriptpen_pic_window
('http://images1.thedilly.com/users/2003/10/14/SkyStJames/
photos/Pict0521.jpg','profile_pic','320','240','1'); but
if I modify it like this
http://images1.thedilly.com/users/20.../SkyStJames/ph
otos/Pict0521.jpg the pic loads fine. How do I get the
pic to open by clicking on the pic in the first place?
