In outlook, when I click on a link in a message, for the past few days, I get
the message:
"General Failure. The URL was
(it gives the url)....Application not found."
This goes for any link in any message. Even if I click "Outlook Help
Online" it does it. So it cannot go online from Outlook. What's going on all
of a sudden?
Really confusing me, would appreciate any help. It's driving me crazy
because some of the links are just pictures and I can't cut and paste the url.

What web browser are you using? if IE7 or IE8, click Tools>Internet
Options>Advanced>Reset and see if that helps.

I've done that Brian, I even uninstalled Office 2007 and reinstalled thinking
that would take care of any problems--no. So basically after resetting and
making IE the default browser, nothing's worked. I also uninstalled Firefox.
So what can I do now, Brian?
