I'm using Front Page 2003. I want to click on a hyperlink and have
additional information appear, (not in a seperate window), and then when I
click again on same hyperlink, I want it to disappear and shink back. Just
like on the MS
training site. Instead of using a screen tip to define something,
additional information becomes part of the paragraph when hyperlink it
clicked.

Use CSS to display and hide layers.

Use a layer and hide/unhide it using a behavior.
