I setup custom animation and have items set up for "On Click". But when I
run the slide show, the items run on their own as if it's setup as "After
Previous". I had copy pasted these slides from another slide show and they
are now messed up. I deleted all of the animation and then re-assigned the
animation but it did not improve! Any suggestions?

If your slide is set up to transition automatically, the animations will
play automatically. Go to the Slide Show menu and choose Slide Transition.
Uncheck the box for "Automatically After" and click "Apply to All Slides."
That should fix you up.
