Hello,

When I reach the last slide in a presentation (one of many), the next
click brings up the black screen and "end of slide show, click to
exit" whereas I want the last click to bring up the menu slide which
had a hyperlink to this presentation..

How can this be done?!

Cheers

Geoff

Hi,

Go to Tools| Options| View Tab and under "Slide show" section get rid of End
with Black Slide.

If you disable "end with black slide" in tools>options that will do it BUT
only on your computer. I believe this is for a cd in which case you need to
untick transition on click for the last slide in the hyperlinked presentation
and add in an action button > "end show"

Hope that helps

John,

I'm getting close!

Yes, this is for a CD and I am doing the following.

1. I open the last slide and select Slide Show/Slide Transition and
deselect "on mouse click" from Slide Advance.

2. I add an action button with the option to "end show".

3. I use "Make CD Package" option but just copy the files to a folder.

4. I run the play.bat file and go to the slide using 1 and 2 above,
but although the action button works OK, when I click on the slide I
still get the black screen!

Am I missing something here?!

Cheers

Geoff

John,

Just for the record!

I have just realized that I have been saying the wrong thing
altogether!!

When on the second slide I should have said that when I press the
enter/return key I get the black screen with the message, "end of
slide show, click exit".

It is this action, ie the use of the enter/return key that I would
like to prevent. Is this possible?

Cheers

Geoff

John,

I may have got the answer from the Net - I used Slide Show > Set Up
Show > Browsed at a kiosk and this disables all except the escape key.

Any problems with this?

Cheers

Geoff

John,

I though that was the answer but it stops the amimations! I need to
use the enter key to move from one animation to the next!

Is there an answer to this?

Geoff

In kiosk mode you will have to provide action buttons for next slide AND a
button to trigger animations (effect options > timing>triggers)

Hope that helps
