Hi i noticed yesterday some little info bar comes up on either flash or on a
video you can see the 2 examples below anyone know how to stop it??

This happens because of recent updates from Microsoft, its all to do with the
patent court case between Microsoft and Eolas, read the following articles.

Oh yes, tell the creator of the web pages that you see this on that
they have to correct the code on the page to get "round" this stuff

This is a darn nuisance. According to Microsoft's documentation on the
update it can be removed using Control Panels Add / Remove program support.
When I tried that, it gave me a warning about two subsequent updates and the
validation tool. The validation tool cannot be removed but I did remove the
two subsequent updates and then removed KB912812. After rebooting, I
reinstalled the two subsequent updates without KB912812 and everything seems
to be working just fine.

Thanks Slater !!

I had the same problem as RJW and i followed your explanation And the
problem is solved !!

In the meantime i allready removed the KB912812 from 4 different Computers
wich had the same nuisance.
