Clearing TCP/IP settings

Do you mean something like using ipconfig in the command
line? You can use "ipconfig /flushdns"
and "ipconfig /release" to purge the dns resolver cache
and your ip address. Get to a command line and type in
ipconfig /all to see the list of things ipconfig can do.
