Hi, I have 12593 reminders in outlook 2007, I have no idea where these came
from other than I use ACT as a contact manager and ACT uses outlook as its
email facility, so it may have come from there. Q. Does anyone know how to
delete these from out look as every now and again I get a pop up and ll the
pop up allows for is to dismiss them, then a few months later up they come
again, and the dimiss function takes a coupe of hours to clear before I can
use outlook again, I just want to delete them ALL and get rid of this problem?

Thanks for any help given, Kindest regards, Kinolmontie

Try srarting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders command switch.
Start>Run (or Search in Vista)>outlook.exe /cleanreminders
Be sure to include the space in front of the switch.

Hi Brian, Thanks for this and having followed your instructions start run
outlook.exe /cleanreminders outlook opened but I cannot tell if this has
worked, how do I find whatever reminders are there or have been cleaned? I
ask only in that it may be a couple of months before the reminders list
reappears ansd causes me grief, id there a way of looking at what reminders
are within outlook?

The command switch should have regenerated the reminders based on what's in
the calendar, so you should not see a recurrence of the problem. Keep your
fingers crossed.
