The AutoComplete feature retains a few web addresses,
even after tools>internet options>general>clear history
is done. What can be done to completely clear the web
address history in the autocomplete feature?

These are probably coming from the index.dat file in the History folder.
Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/fre...ory-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart.
Or the History folder can be deleted manually:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Hey, just wanted to confirm success with the CCcleaner tool that their was a
link to. I was hugely iffy about admin login, blah, blah, but the CCtool was
awesome. i wish I could post the link, but if you look around you will find
it.
