You know when you search your computer for a file and it
comes up with other searches that you have previously
searched for? i want to be able to clear that search
history. is there a way to do that?

Hi Patrick,

Run Regedit and find the following key.

hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\Internet Explorer\Explorer
Bars\{c4ee31f3-4768-11d2-be5c-00a0c9a83da1}FilesNamed MRU

If you clear out the values on the right hand side and leave the 'default'
value it
should clear out the history.

Regards,

Ken Simmons
