Hello,

I tried to use clear history to remove all visited links but some links were
not removed. The links are not part of "Favorites" and have no shortcuts
anywhere on my PC. Any ideas on how to remove links? thank you in advance.
I am runnings IE 6 sp1 on XP pro SP1.

Set the number of days to keep History to 0 (zero)

Karl,
You probably have corruption in your History folder.

Delete the damaged History folder- a new one will be created on restart.

Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/fre...ory-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP.
