I don't have an answer to your question. I know of no way to do this
automatically. However you should not be using the "guest" account for
casual users of the system. That is a special account and actually affords
greater privileges. You want to create a limited user account and have your
casual users use that one. A standard procedure on the guest account is to
disable it.

These computers may be used by children and adults. I need to have the
history and profile cleared every time the user loads off.

In Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, the profile for a
member of the "Guests" local group that is not a member of the
"Administrators" local group is deleted after the member logs off of the
computer. In Windows XP, the profile for a member of the "Guests" local group
that is not a member of the "Administrators" local group is only deleted
after the computer joins a domain. If the computer is not joined to a domain,
the local profile is not removed based on group membership.

These PC will not be part of a Domain. What can I do? If I create another
user account how can I set it up the account to clear the profile when the
user logs off and the history when the browser is closed?

Third-party software like Deep Freeze from Faronics. Or look at the MS
Shared Computer Toolkit and see if it will do what you want.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/s...s/default.mspx

Questions about the Shared Computer Toolkit can be asked in its newsgroup:

You could clear it at logon with a shortcut in the Startup folder to a
batch file that deletes the desired files.
