thanks Steve..I'll have to give this shape styles a whirl. Resetting the
slides many, many times has no impact. And, yes..PP97 to PP2007 has been a
brainchurn indeed. I am glad to know the clear formatting button is there,
but it appears to only clear local formatting as you point out. I was hoping
for something that literally takes the content to plain text (no bullets +
revert to whatever "normal" font PP2007 is (Calibri I think).
Maybe your shape styles will be just the fix we need.
