Does anybody have some source for clear injkjet compatible (HP in
particular) film in letter or legal size?

I used to use this stuff on large DesignJet printers from rolls. I don't
remember where we got it from. I tried Googling around, but mainly find
large rolls and similar. It does not need to be adhesive or anything
like that. I just need to be able to plot something and lay it over an
object to verify locations and other items.

HP Premium Inkjet Transparency Film is sold in Canada at
Staples (or was when I last bought mine) and may be HP
product no. C3828A.

Thanks. I looked through HP's web site for supplies, and it didn't list
it for my printer (OfficeJet 7310). I should have tried a more generic
search.

I was checking the HP sheets on Amazon, and found a link to Sparco brand
sheets. It's only $24.50 for 50 sheets vs $35 for HP. I ordered it and
will see how well it works.

I have used clear film and some work some don't absorb the ink and stay wet.

The blacks are not very black on some.


Lets know if that brand is OK that your buying. I have epson printers
and buy Epson film as they work together.

Got the film today. It turns out the supplier is literally in the town
next door! Maybe I could have saved shipping charges and picked it up
directly.

Anyways, I did a quick test with a sheet, and it worked fine. No
smearing. Most of the printing I use it for will be CAD-style line
drawings, not graphics or other large areas of printing.
