Hello,

How do I delete individual values or the entire autofill list? Thanks for
help.

Robert

Not sure what you're asking here.

Can you copy and paste a sample of your data and what you want done with it.

Autofill list is what? A list that you have entered into Tools>Options>Custom
Lists?

If so, just select in the dialog box and delete it.

Not sure I understand either but as another guess

Tools>Options>Edit>uncheck 'Enable autocomplete for cell values'

Nick & Gord,

Nick & Gord,

Sorry for the imprecision with the original post. "Autocomplete" list would
have been more accurate.

Although Nick's solution prevents an autocompletion from the default
recently used list, the values are still shown on the Pick From List. Can
values be deleted from this list or the entire list cleared?

Thanks for your help.

Robert

Robert

The Pick From List items come from unique items in the column that is active at
the time of "picking"

You cannot get rid of them as far as I know, without deleting whatever is in the
column.

What is strange about the pick list is that row 1 is not included in the list.
