cleaning-up dead DHCP servers

Hello all,

over the last couple of years several servers that used to serve as
DHCP servers have been decommissioned from our W2k AD domain Native
Mode.

However, issuing the command netsh show DHCP server still reports DHCP
servers that actually no longer exist. Can I safely delete these old
entries by deleting the appropriate item via adsiedit under the
netservices node ?
I tried to delete the old servers using netsh but I get an error and
deletion does not succeed (CAO no longer exists).

Thank you for your help in this matter.
