I deleted a program from C:\Program files before using the 'Add or Remove
Programs' utility to remove it, thus the name appears in 'Add or Remove
Programs' and the romoval utility does not work.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the disk to re-install that program. Is
there a location that I can access the file that populated the 'Add or Remove
Programs' utility? Is the some thing in the registry I can access?

Add Remove Pro at http://www.superwin.com/index.htm can repair it. Open
page, click Freeware on left, and download it.

Just deleting the registry entry will not remove the program from
your computer, that's what the uninstaller would have done.

Tell me the name of the program and I might be able to write a script
for you to remove it all.
